My HSBC' templates.

This is my first template. I chose the word power because I think its a very strong word and that its actually power that controls the whole earth and us. I chose my first picture as it shows the person touching the object has the power to control it. I chose the second image as it makes me feel that the object is strong enough to hold that item, the object is powerful which also comes under the word power.I chose the last image because it makes me feel that now the person has the power to do anything wants to express her feelings. This is why I chose those 3 different images and the same word for those pictures.

This is my second picture. I chose the same pictures 3 times as I think it can express loads of expressions and that it can make people feel different ways by looking at this picture. The first caption I wrote was 'Friendship' I chose this caption because I think that friendship is a strong bond and that at first everyone is friends. I chose the second caption as 'Family' because I think that all the bonds for friendship eventually gets stronger and it makes those people feel like they are family now. I chose the last caption as 'Love' because I think the bond that is between the friendship and that is making it more stronger to make them feel like family is Love, I think the bond is love.

Science Fiction Film.

My groups film is based on a single mum trying to save her family from robots/aliens.

The sub-genre for my groups film is; dystopia and alien/robot invasion.

This film is set on a large set in USA we chose this because in USA it has a better place to film in and also has more use-full items that we can use for the film. So it comes under science fiction films as it is placed on earth and is also set on a large screen set which will give the animation idea for the explosions. 

In this movie the characters are a single mum and her family and the robots/aliens. The characters go under the category of science fiction films as the evil (aliens/robots) are made up they are not real so they don't actually be in the filming we have to animate them on the film after all the shooting,

The themes for this movie is dystopia, and alien/robot invasion. This goes under sci fi films as it has the planing of someone taking over the earth of the invasion of aliens and robots.

Movie Trailer Analysis.

Terminator Genisys:

Sub-Genre: Experimental Science, Space and Time Travel and Nuclear threat.

The conventions are that it had robots, special effects and the setting are in space and on earth.

The target audience is people aged 15-30 and can be a family movie. 

Infini:

Sub-Genre: Dystopia, Experimental Science and Space, Time Travel.

The conventions are that it had special effects with the bombings and the facial features for the people and aliens.

The target audience is people aged 16 and above and if families are into sci fi films I would recommend  this film.

Dark Space:

Sub- Genres: Experimental Sciences, Dystopia and Space.

The conventions are that it had special effects for the aliens and robots while flying to space.The setting was set in a dark forest place which was mysterious.

The target audience is aged 16 and over and I wouldn't recommend this movie to families as it has lots of explosions and loud noises which some people may not like. However if you like these sorts of film you can carry on watching them.

Why did you choose GCSE Media Studies?  I choose Media studies because it sounded interesting also my sister had taken this subject for GCSEs and she said that it was loads of fun and you get to learn new things.

5. What was the last TV programme or film you watched? The last film I watched was San Andreas.            
6. Why do you think that TV programme or film appealed to an audience? I think that it was appealed to an audience because it had a very famous actor and it had action in it.                                                    
7. What technology have you used to access the media in the last 24 hours? (Radio, TV, phone etc.) The last technology I used to access media was my phone.                                                                            
8. What device do you use most to access the media? The device I used the most to get access of media is my phone.                                                                                                                                                       
9. Find the trailer for Jurassic World on YouTube and embed it in your blog. What film genres would Jurassic World fit into? I think the film genres in the film Jurassic World is mostly action and thriller.      
10. Why does Jurassic World appeal to a family audience? This might appeal to a family audience because they might like action movies and it may be appropriate to watch as a family movie.
